Note: Due to the Easter break, MONDAY NIGHT classes will start on the 28th of April, the final two classes of term will run for 1.5hrs. Why at the end of term? So you have a full choreography to drill.
Level: This is an Open Level class, we do not recommending booking this class if you’re new to either silk fan work or burlesque, you need to be comfortable/ familiar in both aspects before joining this class. The basic concepts of this prop will be refreshed in the context of Lyra’s teaching, but an in-depth introduction will not be given.At the end of your 8-week commitment, you have the opportunity to participate in our Student Showcase*
Silk Fans will be provided for you but you are welcome to bring your own. We will be using the ‘fire/hot sauce’ fans.
What to Wear to Class: Whatever you feel comfortable in.
Song: Rock You Like a Hurricane by Scorpions.
Active Level: This class features hand held silk fans. It will involve a lot of work with the wrists, arms and upper back.
Costume: TBA
Costume is purchased at the students expense under the guidance of your teacher.
Nudity Level: Pastie reveal.
* Student Showcase is always highly encouraged but remains optional, your teacher will talk through this more with you during term.
